Dear Friends and Family,

We are excited to share our big day with you in Big Sky, Montana. All our wedding festivities will be held at Lone Mountain Ranch, which is a scenic 50-minute drive from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN). The drive takes you on a winding two-lane highway through the towering canyon of the Gallatin River. The most flexible way to explore the area is to rent a car at the airport. Alternatively, private shuttle services are great for groups or those who do not want to drive. Keep in mind that there’s a good chance you won’t be able to find late night Uber or Lyft rides over here. Lone Mountain Ranch started out as a homestead in 1915 and has been evolving as a dude ranch since the 1930s. But throughout LMR’s history, we wager it’s never seen anything quite like a Coleman-Kearse wedding.

Big Sky has several great options for lodging. Here are a few recommendations in the area.

Lone Mountain Ranch offers historic log cabins available on the property, offering a cozy mountain stay with modern amenities. Cabins are limited.

The Wilson Hotel, located just a quick 5-minute drive from the ranch, this Residence Inn by Marriott is situated in the heart of Big Sky’s Town Center. It’s within walking distance of local shops, restaurants, and hiking trails. We’ve also secured a block of rooms for our guests, which you can find here.

How to Get There

Flying In

Guests should plan to fly into Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN). It’s the closest major airport and an easy, scenic drive to Big Sky.

Getting to Big Sky

From Bozeman, you have several options to get to Big Sky (approx. 1 hour):

  • Rent a car at the airport — the most flexible way to explore the area.

  • Uber/Lyft — not generally readily available.

  • Private shuttle services — great for groups or those not wanting to drive.

BOZEMAN HOTELS

Lewis and Clark Motel (http://www.lewisandclarkmotelbozeman.com).  This boutique motel features a 60 -foot indoor heated pool and wellness amenities, including a eucalyptus steam room, infrared saunas, and a hot tub.  A vacation within a vacation.

 

Kimpton Armory Hotel (http://www.armoryhotelbzn.com ).  Situated in downtown Bozeman, this boutique hotel combines relaxed luxury with an energetic spirit.   Enjoy stunning mountain views from the rooftop bar and live music in their basement bar.
